I just posted a few pix of how I made Zippy's awnings. I wanted
something that was lightweight, easy to install at camp, and didn't
require poles and stuff, so this is what I came up with. They are
really just a flat piece of outdoor fabric with bias tape around the
edges, and simple to make. You might want to make a paper pattern
first, before you start cutting up expensive fabric, though. This type
would only work on the windows that crank out like Zippy's do. The
pictures pretty much tell the whole story!
